Community Health Centre provides regular and out-patient services, in-patient services, comprehensive family welfare services, i.e. surgical and non-surgical, specialised services including labour room services to tackle high risk pregnancies. The community Health Centre also facilities the free drugs distribution (NIRAMAYA) and free diagnosis (NIDAN) services.
The primary objectives of “ NIRAMAYA “ is to provide essential medicines (570) to all patients at Govt. Health facilities for timely and appropriate healthcare with an objective to improve overall health status of the State including :-
- Improved accessibility to essential medicines and health care.
- Reduction of financial burden due to care and treatment.
- Reduction in morbidity and mortality, controlling both communicable and non-communicable diseases.
The free diagnosis Service (NIDAN) performs different types of test like community Health Centre (40), Primary Health Centre (9), & Sub centre (6). The main objective of Nidan Scheme
- This scheme is to provide free diagnostic services in health facilities to all the citizens.
- The primary focus is to reduce the Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) and Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR).
- • In addition to the free diagnostic services facility, govt. will also provide free of cost facility of Pathology & biochemistry test.
